Since this halter is made from soft, waterproof Beta® the halter will no longer get stinky or stiff or covered in mildew!
The crown piece on our Beta® Padded Halter is made with soft Super Heavy Beta® and YES it will break just like leather if the horse pulls back or gets hung up. In the event the crown piece does break, we have designed the halter with buckles on each side of the halter so the crown piece can be easily replaced.
